How it works

Four steps. One clean result.

01

Upload a GeoTIFF

Drop an orthophoto, DEM, or DSM — up to gigabyte-scale — and GeoLokal ingests it into secure cloud storage.

02

Automatic tiling

Your raster is served as fast, on-demand map tiles so it renders instantly at any zoom level.

Features

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Cloud-native storage

GeoTIFFs are stored securely in the cloud and never take up space on your machine.

Dynamic tiling

Rasters are converted to fast web tiles on the fly — no long preprocessing steps.

Access controls

Layers respect your workspace and tier so sensitive imagery only surfaces where it should.

Free reference library

Enable curated free layers (flood maps, base imagery, etc.) with a single toggle.

Anchored to projects

Every layer can be pinned to a project so surveyors see the right context automatically.

Downloadable when you need

Admins can pull the original GeoTIFF back down whenever it's needed for archiving.

FAQ

Questions about GIS Tools.

What raster formats are supported?
Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs work best. Standard GeoTIFFs are accepted and converted automatically.
Is there a size limit?
Enterprise plans support gigabyte-scale rasters. Professional plan uploads are capped for cost control.
Can non-admins upload layers?
Layer management is admin-scoped by default, but you can grant upload rights to any role from the workspace settings.
